Agreement and scope
Using AniimoVerse means you accept these terms. There is no account to create and nothing to sign, so acceptance is by use: if you do not agree with what follows, the remedy is to stop using the site.
They apply to aniimoverse.com and everything served from it, including the Aniilog, the tier list, the Idyll map, the team planner, the guides, the news posts and the endpoints those pages call. The Privacy Policy and the DMCA policy form part of this agreement.
Who may use the site
Anybody old enough, where they live, to agree to terms like these may use AniimoVerse. Younger readers are welcome with a parent or guardian who agrees on their behalf. There is nothing to register for and no fee at any age.
Do not use the site where doing so would break the law that applies to you, and do not use it on behalf of anyone who has been blocked from it.
Acceptable use
- Do not attack, probe, overload or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or the infrastructure behind it.
- Do not try to defeat the tier list's one-vote-a-day limit, automate votes, or manipulate rankings by any means other than voting once as yourself.
- Do not present AniimoVerse as an official Aniimo resource, or suggest an endorsement, affiliation or partnership that does not exist.
- Do not remove credits, obscure the source of what you took, or republish our work in a way that implies you compiled it.
- Do not use the site to break the law or to harm somebody else.
We may block access, at any point and without notice, from an address or a client that breaks these rules or degrades the site for other readers.
Automated access and scraping
Search engine crawlers are welcome, and our robots file is the rule for them. Reading a handful of pages with a script to check a number is fine. Bulk automated harvesting of the dataset is not, and neither is any traffic that costs other readers a working site.
The vote endpoint is rate limited to thirty requests a minute per voter, on top of the database rule that allows one changeable tier ballot per creature and voter identity. Nothing on the site is a public API: the endpoints the pages call are internal, undocumented, and free to change or disappear without notice.
Ask. Say what you are building and where the credit will go, and write to [email protected]. A conversation is faster than a scraper and considerably less likely to get you blocked.
What AniimoVerse owns
A fact about a video game is not ours to own, and we do not claim one. What is ours is the work built around those facts:
- The guides, news posts, tier reasoning and every other word written for this site.
- The compilation, arrangement, normalization and presentation of the data, which is where most of the research effort actually goes.
- The tools, the code behind them, the site design and AniimoVerse's own artwork.
- The AniimoVerse name and logo.
Those are protected by copyright and, where it applies, database rights. Section 7 covers the game material, which is a different matter entirely.
Reusing our work
| What you want to do | Where we stand |
|---|---|
| Quote stats, a tier placement or a paragraph in a video, post or spreadsheet | Yes, with a credit to AniimoVerse and a link back to the page you took it from. |
| Screenshot a table or a chart for a guide of your own | Yes, same terms: credit and a link. |
| Republish a page, a guide or the dataset on another site | Not without our written permission first. |
| Train a model on the site, or resell the compiled data | Not without our written permission first. |
| Mirror the site, or run it behind your own branding | No. |
Permission is a request away and is usually granted for anything that credits the work. Write to [email protected].
Aniimo and game rights
Aniimo, its name, its characters, its artwork, its music and its in-game data belong to Pawprint Studio and its affiliates. AniimoVerse is an independent fan site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by the developer or the publisher, and nothing here should be read as an official statement about the game.
Game names and artwork appear on this site for identification and reference, so a reader can recognise what a page is about. We claim no ownership of them, and nothing in section 5 is a claim over the game's material.
If you hold rights in something published here and want it removed, the DMCA page sets out what a notice needs and how quickly we act on one. You do not have to work through these terms first.
Where the data comes from
The reference data on AniimoVerse is compiled from the game itself, from the official index at wiki.aniimo.com, and from publicly published datamines of the game's build files. Numbers are cross-checked between those sources before they ship, and every guide carries the date it was last updated.
The Aniimo tier list ranks every form from reader votes. The Aniimo guides carry our own advice on builds and teams, and we update them as the game changes.
Third-party services
AniimoVerse links out to the official Aniimo site, to wiki.aniimo.com, and to YouTube. Those services are not ours. Their terms and their privacy rules govern what happens once you are there, and a link is not an endorsement of what you find.
Behind the scenes, Supabase hosts our database and Google supplies analytics if you have allowed it. The Privacy Policy lists every company that handles anything on our behalf.
Accuracy and game data
Aniimo is a live game. Patches change numbers, add content and retire systems, and datamined values sometimes describe content the game never uses. We refresh the database after each client update and correct pages when we find an error.
If you spot a mistake, tell us at [email protected] and we will fix the page.
Changes to the site and these terms
AniimoVerse is free, and it is offered as it stands on the day you read it. Features, tools, endpoints and pages can change, move or be withdrawn, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability or that any particular page will still be here next month.
These terms can change too. The date at the top of this page marks the version in force, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version. A change that materially narrows what you may do will be described in the section it belongs to, not slipped in.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, AniimoVerse is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that the data is accurate, complete or current, or that following a guide will produce any particular result in the game. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, AniimoVerse and the people who run it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost time, lost in-game progress or lost opportunity, arising out of the site, the data on it, or your inability to use it.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum the law permits. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here overrides consumer protections that cannot be waived where you live.
Copyright and takedowns
We respect copyright and act on valid notices quickly. If material on AniimoVerse infringes a work you own or represent, the DMCA page sets out the six elements a notice needs, where to send it, how long review takes and how to file a counter-notice.
Repeated, knowingly false notices are themselves actionable, and we treat them as such.
General terms and disputes
If something goes wrong, write to us first. Most disputes about a page, a credit or a takedown are settled in an email, and neither side is prevented from seeking relief from a court or authority with lawful jurisdiction if that fails.
These terms are governed by the law of the place from which AniimoVerse is operated, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and without overriding the consumer protections that apply where you live.
If any provision is unenforceable it is limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them as part of a transfer of the site.
These terms, the Privacy Policy and the DMCA policy are the whole agreement between us about the site. For general support or corrections, use the private contact form. Legal questions can still be sent to [email protected].
