HomelandHauling 1 → 3Scorchhowl work levelAniimo's release client differs from our CBT3 listings in several areas: base stats, combat skills, player-skill bonuses, research requirements and Homeland work levels. Witchin is now Hexxin, Star Essence is now Starcryst Essence, and some catch-research milestones reach 1,000 catches.
The comparisons below use the CBT3-era data previously listed on AniimoVerse. They include corrections to old site entries as well as differences in the game data.
Aniimo base stat changes: four examples from the wider update
The stat update extends beyond the four Aniimo featured here. Emberpup, Scorchhowl, Celestis and Pawney are selected examples to make the before-and-after differences easy to compare. The 19 changed values below cover only these four Basic Forms, not the total across all Aniimo.
Emberpup, Scorchhowl and Celestis have higher base stats in several categories. Pawney has lower Attack, Magic Attack and Defense, with a small increase in REGEN.
Emberpup's Attack and Magic Attack both rise from 86 to 90. Magic Defense increases by four points, BREAK by two and REGEN by one. Scorchhowl gains five HP, four points in both attacking stats, five Magic Defense and two BREAK.
Emberpup

| Base stat | Previous | Release | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Attack | 86 | 90 | +4 |
| Magic Attack | 86 | 90 | +4 |
| Magic Defense | 53 | 57 | +4 |
| REGEN | 67 | 68 | +1 |
| BREAK | 38 | 40 | +2 |
Scorchhowl

| Base stat | Previous | Release | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| HP | 90 | 95 | +5 |
| Attack | 115 | 119 | +4 |
| Magic Attack | 115 | 119 | +4 |
| Magic Defense | 70 | 75 | +5 |
| BREAK | 50 | 52 | +2 |
Celestis

| Base stat | Previous | Release | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| HP | 77 | 81 | +4 |
| Defense | 54 | 58 | +4 |
| Magic Defense | 57 | 58 | +1 |
| REGEN | 76 | 80 | +4 |
| BREAK | 42 | 46 | +4 |
Pawney

| Base stat | Previous | Release | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Attack | 128 | 125 | −3 |
| Magic Attack | 128 | 125 | −3 |
| Defense | 89 | 84 | −5 |
| REGEN | 80 | 81 | +1 |
Celestis gains four HP, four Defense, one Magic Defense, four REGEN and four BREAK. Pawney's changes are mixed: both attacking stats fall by three and Defense falls by five, while REGEN rises from 80 to 81.
These are base stats. A levelled Aniimo's final values also depend on growth, equipment and other bonuses. The comparisons apply to the Basic Forms shown; regional forms and temporary evolutions have their own values.
Witchin renamed to Hexxin
Witchin is named Hexxin in the release client. Both names refer to the same Aniimo in the matched records, including its corresponding forms.
Older guides, team lists and screenshots may still use Witchin. AniimoVerse's current entry uses Hexxin, with links preserving the connection to the previous name.

Hexxin
View Hexxin in the AniilogPebble Kick power and Blockade effect
Pebble Kick's listed power changes from 72 to 40. Its release-client description applies Blockade for eight seconds after a successful dodge.
The previous AniimoVerse description incorrectly repeated Fire Kick's damage-buff effect. The update therefore corrects the effect text as well as the power value. The old listing cannot establish the size of a gameplay nerf on its own.
The old effect description also needed a correction.
Skill pages are also being updated with conditional effects, continuing EP costs and attribute scaling. Form-specific unlock requirements stay attached to the relevant form. These details help distinguish an opening hit from repeated damage and explain when an additional effect activates.
Enhanced Twining and Elemental Boost changes
Enhanced Twining has lower listed damage bonuses at all three compared levels. The bonus after Twining changes from 10% to 7% at level 1, 13% to 10% at level 2, and 16% to 15% at level 3.
Elemental Boost's elemental-counter bonus changes from 3% to 2%, 6% to 4%, 9% to 7%, and 12% to 10% across levels 1–4.

Enhanced Twining
| Bonus | Previous | Release | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | 10% | 7% | −3 pp |
| Level 2 | 13% | 10% | −3 pp |
| Level 3 | 16% | 15% | −1 pp |
pp = percentage points

Elemental Boost
| Bonus | Previous | Release | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | 3% | 2% | −1 pp |
| Level 2 | 6% | 4% | −2 pp |
| Level 3 | 9% | 7% | −2 pp |
| Level 4 | 12% | 10% | −2 pp |
pp = percentage points
The largest Enhanced Twining reduction is at levels 1 and 2: three percentage points each. Elemental Boost is one percentage point lower at level 1 and two points lower at the remaining levels. These are changes to the listed bonuses, rather than a calculation of final team damage.
The player skill previously named HP Recovery is now Heal. Older progression guides may use the former name.
Research catch requirements: 20 to 1,000 at the final milestone
Celestis's 'Catch this Aniimo' research topic changes from milestones at 2, 5, 10 and 20 catches to 10, 50, 100 and 1,000. Each milestone still awards 10 research points.
The same threshold pattern appears in the matched Helmut, Jawling, Wisptis, Skippy and Emberpup entries. Celestis is shown below as one example.
Celestis catch milestones
10 research points per milestone
Top: previous site thresholds. Bottom: release-client thresholds.
The final milestone is 50 times the previous listed threshold. Completing the four catch milestones still awards 40 points altogether. The requirements are thresholds, so the four catch counts should not be added together.
Reaching a research Crown does not necessarily require completing this entire catch topic. Other topics, Field Notes and appearance-related objectives also contribute points. A research route based on the older 20-catch threshold needs to account for the current requirements.
Item renames: Starcryst Essence and Basic Held Item Core
Star Essence is now Starcryst Essence. Basic Carried Item Core is now Basic Held Item Core. Each old and new name belongs to the same matched item record.
Starcryst Essence increases an Aniimo's Acquired Potential. Basic Held Item Core is an enhancement material for held items. The name changes do not establish a change in either material's effect.

View item detailsHeld-item pages are being expanded to show effects at every rank. This makes the difference between the item you own and its upgraded versions visible on the same page. Previously, a single effect description could leave the applicable rank unclear.
The release client includes additional item records that were absent from the older database. Their acquisition routes still need checking before they can be described as new obtainable items. Catalog coverage and in-game availability are separate questions.
Shop currencies, item quantities and purchase limits
AniimoVerse's vendor update adds the currency cost, quantity received and purchase limit to item offers. Item pages also distinguish shop offers from recipes and rewards.
These details matter when the same item appears in more than one shop. A limited offer may have a lower price than a repeatable offer, while a bundle may supply a different quantity. The full offer is needed to compare their value.

What each offer includes
The currency required and total price.
The number of items included in the offer.
How many times the offer can be purchased.
This is an update to the site's shop information. The current comparison does not establish that those prices or limits changed in the game between CBT3 and release.
Homeland work levels: Flameruff and Scorchhowl
Basic Flameruff's Hauling increases from level 1 to level 2. Basic Scorchhowl's Hauling increases from level 1 to level 3. Their Fire work levels stay at 2 and 3, respectively.
Highland Flameruff gains the same Hauling increase, while its Earth level falls from 2 to 1. Highland Scorchhowl's Hauling rises from 1 to 3 and Earth falls from 3 to 2. Fire levels remain unchanged.
Flameruff

| Form · job | Previous | Release | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic · Hauling | 1 | 2 | +1 |
| Basic · Fire | 2 | 2 | — |
| Highland · Earth | 2 | 1 | −1 |
| Highland · Hauling | 1 | 2 | +1 |
| Highland · Fire | 2 | 2 | — |
Scorchhowl

| Form · job | Previous | Release | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic · Hauling | 1 | 3 | +2 |
| Basic · Fire | 3 | 3 | — |
| Highland · Earth | 3 | 2 | −1 |
| Highland · Hauling | 1 | 3 | +2 |
| Highland · Fire | 3 | 3 | — |
The Highland forms therefore gain Hauling levels while losing one Earth level. Their suitability depends on the job being assigned. Basic Form artwork identifies each creature in the cards; the rows distinguish Basic and Highland work levels.
Homeland ability listings and production information are being updated alongside the Aniilog. The optimizer's production timing requires a separate review, so these worker-level changes do not establish revised hourly output or profit estimates.
AniimoVerse database, map and guide updates
The release-client update covers the Aniilog, items, vendors, research and Homeland. Creature pages use the selected form's stats and skills. Item pages show rank effects, and vendor listings include complete purchase conditions.
Research information is being consolidated into Aniilog entries, with family progress kept together. Homeland pages are being updated with worker levels and production details.

Gathering information and map placements are also being reviewed against the current data. Marker changes describe the locations listed on the map; they do not establish a daily yield or respawn schedule.
Guides are gaining short gameplay previews for abilities, interactions and puzzle steps. Existing layouts and navigation remain in place. This work is ongoing, and related calculators and recommendations still need their own checks.
Aniimo CBT3 vs release: common questions
Does Hexxin replace Witchin?
Yes. Hexxin is the release-client name for the Aniimo previously listed as Witchin.
Do you need 1,000 catches for every research Crown?
No. That number is the final threshold in the catch topic shown here. Other research topics and objectives also award points.
Are all the differences balance changes?
No. The comparison includes corrected descriptions, translations and previously incomplete site entries.
What happened to Star Essence?
It is named Starcryst Essence in the release client and is used to increase Acquired Potential.
