Sparkling Egg, Perfect Egg or Cube: What Each Guarantees

Sparkling, Perfect Potential and Prismana Form are separate promises. Compare five items before using a rare egg, spending a Cube or changing a keeper.

A Sparkling Egg guarantees the Sparkling mutation. A Perfect Egg guarantees Perfect Potential. A Sparkling Cube combines a guaranteed catch, Perfect Potential and Sparkling status. The similar rarity colors and egg artwork do not make those three items interchangeable.

That distinction matters when a rare item appears in a reward track or shop. One item can satisfy the appearance goal while leaving the Potential question separate. Another can supply the Potential tier without promising the appearance. Choose by the property the item actually guarantees, rather than treating every expensive-looking egg as the same upgrade.

01

Three properties that the item names keep separate

Sparkling is the mutation promise. Perfect names the Potential tier. Prismana identifies a form. These can matter on the same Aniimo, but one word does not imply the other two.

Read the middle column as the promised property, not as a list of everything a resulting Aniimo can possibly have. A Sparkling Egg's mutation guarantee is not also a written Perfect Potential guarantee. Likewise, the generic Prismana Egg's form promise should not be replaced with the more specific promises attached to a named seasonal egg.

The rare variants guide explains these collection axes. Here, the practical question is which item supplies the missing one.

02

Two Sparkling Eggs share a name, but not a hatch description

There are two Sparkling Egg entries with different item descriptions. One directs you to Outpost Hatchinators. The other explicitly supports Outpost Hatchinators and Home Hatchinators.

Both promise Sparkling Aniimo. The important difference for the next action is where the item says it can hatch. Seeing “Sparkling Egg” in the inventory is therefore not enough to assume that your Home Hatchinator accepts that particular egg.

The Outpost-only Sparkling Egg and the Home-compatible Sparkling Egg have separate catalog entries so you can compare their exact descriptions. The Perfect Egg and generic Prismana Egg entries both list Outpost and Home Hatchinators.

This is an item-identity distinction, rather than a claim that every egg in a rarity tier follows one hatch-location rule. The destination printed on the exact item is the one that matters.

03

A Sparkling Cube combines guarantees at capture

The Sparkling Cube is a capture tool. Its rules combine three outcomes: the catch succeeds, the Aniimo's Potential is Perfect, and it is Sparkling.

That combination explains why a Sparkling Egg and a Cube are not equivalent even when both lead to a Sparkling result. The egg supplies a hatch with its stated mutation guarantee. The Cube supplies a capture with the additional Perfect Potential guarantee.

The Cube also has a more specific line for an already-Perfect Aniimo: it raises the chance that Innate Potential for recommended attributes exceeds 8. “Raises the chance” is not a promise that every recommended attribute becomes a particular number.

Perfect is a tier, not a complete build
A Perfect result still needs to be evaluated for its distribution, exact form, personality and skills. The Cube's guarantee does not choose the finished build for you.

For example, a player pursuing a particular capture with both Sparkling status and Perfect Potential has a different goal from a collector happy to hatch another Sparkling species. The Cube's combined promise fits the first goal; the Sparkling Egg's stated promise directly addresses the second.

04

A Sigil changes an existing keeper

The Sparkling Sigil answers another situation: you already have the Aniimo you want to keep, and the missing property is Sparkling. Its effect transforms an Aniimo into a Sparkling Aniimo. It can also be exchanged at the Outpost Vendor for Sparkling Pigments.

Its written effect is about the mutation, not a new catch or an egg hatch. It does not carry the Cube's written Perfect Potential guarantee. That makes “use a Sigil on my keeper” a separate decision from “catch a new Perfect Sparkling copy.”

Pigments are also a separate destination for the same item. Exchanging the Sigil spends it on that alternative instead of applying its mutation effect. Compare the existing copy and the appearance goal before choosing between those uses.

05

Match the item to the property you are missing

If the goal is a Sparkling hatch, compare the exact Sparkling Egg and its allowed Hatchinator. If the goal is a Perfect hatch, the Perfect Egg states that Potential promise. If it is a Prismana hatch, the generic Prismana Egg states the form promise. For a capture combining success, Perfect Potential and Sparkling, the Cube explicitly combines all three.

An existing keeper changes the comparison again: the Sigil can supply Sparkling without replacing that Aniimo with a new hatch. The Aniimo evaluator helps compare a new result with what you already trained, while the keeper framework explains why a high Potential tier is only one part of that choice.
