Trailblazer II raises the Aniimo level cap from 60 to 65. Trailblazer III raises both Pathfinder and Aniimo caps from 65 to 70. An individual Aniimo also needs Ascension at level 60 before it can keep leveling. A higher title and that creature's Ascension answer two separate progression gates.
This is why an account gaining access to the next training range does not mean every level-60 companion is ready to receive more EXP immediately. Part II also adds a level-65 Resonance breakthrough and a way to reset Capability Awakening above 60, each with its own condition.

The new assessments start with Dr. Lewis and Whisperwake
Dr. Lewis contacts Pathfinders at level 60 or higher about the new Trailblazer II and Trailblazer III promotion assessments and Badge Challenges. Elite Training adds the Chapter of Whisperwake, available after reaching Trailblazer I and advancing the Whisperwake Isles story.
The level in that contact condition is the Pathfinder's level. It is not a statement that feeding an Aniimo to 60 awards the next Pathfinder title. Likewise, progressing the new story is part of opening the training chapter, separate from the creature's material-consuming Ascension.
The Whisperwake overview provides the regional context. The new chapter and assessments are the title-progression route; the player skill tree shows why new Active Skills and Passive Talents also matter as those growth stages open.
Read the title ladder separately from the creature
The announced cap changes are:
| Title | Aniimo | Pathfinder |
|---|---|---|
| Trailblazer II | 60 to 65 | No increase listed |
| Trailblazer III | 65 to 70 | 65 to 70 |
The first promotion specifically expands the Aniimo range. The second takes both tracks to 70. Neither row says that every owned Aniimo is instantly raised to the new maximum: the cap is the ceiling, not the EXP already earned.
A simple example is a Trailblazer II account with two level-60 Aniimo. The account has access to the 65 ceiling, but each companion's own Ascension state still matters. Advancing one creature does not complete that material step for the other.
Ascension after 60 uses the main element's Evolution Item
Once an Aniimo reaches level 60, further leveling requires Ascension. The stated material is an Evolution Item matching the Aniimo's main element.
That is a creature-specific requirement. Matching the item to the main element is a different decision from choosing a regional Dewdrop Crystal for Resonance. A stockpile of one resource cannot be assumed to replace the other merely because both appear in late training.
The Scorchhowl worked build uses level 60 as its benchmark and separates a later ladder from that finished target. Carry that budgeting distinction into Part II: the next level range, its Ascension entry and the next Resonance breakthrough are separate purchases and unlocks.
Level 65 opens another Resonance milestone
At Aniimo level 65, Resonance Star Up can break through to Stellar Tier 6. Both increasing Aniimo level and completing Resonance breakthroughs increase the available Capability Awakening count.
Level 65 is therefore more than a waypoint on the way to 70. It opens a named Resonance milestone. It does not automatically pay that milestone's material cost, and an increased Awakening count is not an automatic allocation of points into every attribute.
Part II also adds Whisperwake Isles Dewdrop Crystal for raising the region's Aniimo. Separately, Aniimo carrying a Season Tag can use Dewdrop Crystals from any region for Resonance raising. That flexibility belongs to the tagged case; it should not be extended to every untagged creature.
The Resonance guide explains the distinction between spending on stars and entering another tier. Keep that distinction when comparing an immediate stat gain with the next unlock.
Awakening above 60 now has a reset item
Capability Awakening can be reset after an Aniimo exceeds level 60, using the new Potential Reset Card. That changes the old assumption that an allocation above 60 has no reset route. It does not make the reset an unlimited, cost-free experiment.
For a keeper that is receiving more Awakening capacity through levels and Resonance, the useful order is to compare the intended role with the expanded allocation. The Aniimo evaluator helps keep role fit, Potential distribution and existing investment together. Reaching the new ceiling expands what can be trained; it does not choose the best distribution for the creature's job.
