Aniimo Resonance Star-Up and Ascension guide

Resonance Star-Up is the fixed-growth ladder inside Aniimo Training. You spend regional Dewdrop Crystals on stat-granting Star-Ups, then meet an Aniimo-level gate and pay training crystals plus elemental materials to Ascend. Seven stages, 21 Star-Ups, and every gain is a fixed amount rather than a roll.

How Resonance works

Aniimo Training is the parent screen and Resonance & Ascension is the tab inside it. The Help entry calls the ladder Resonance Star-Up, and its two actions are Star Up and Ascend.

Open Aniimo Training on an Aniimo and select Resonance. The Help text describes two linked actions: use Dewdrop Crystals to fill the current stage’s stars and increase base attributes, then use Elemental Stones and any additional listed items to Ascend after the stars are full. Ascension opens the next stage and grants its displayed stage bonus.

  1. 1Check the assigned materials

Each Aniimo profile names one regional Dewdrop Crystal for Star-Up, its elemental stone for Ascension. Advancing a stage also consumes training crystals, and some forms require a family-specific material. The names are shown on that Aniimo’s Aniilog page.

  2. 2Complete every Star-Up in the stage

Pay the displayed regional Dewdrop amount for each star. Every transaction has a fixed stat gain; it is not a random roll.

  3. 3Meet the next Aniimo-level gate

Later Ascensions require the trained Aniimo to reach Lv 35, 35, 40, 50, 60 and 65. Levelling unlocks the gate; it does not perform the Ascension.

  4. 4Pay the Ascension cost

Pay the listed regional Dewdrop Crystals and elemental stones to enter the next stage. Stages 6 and 7 also require Phenomena Crystal. The new stage then starts its own Star-Up sequence.

Astranite is not part of Resonance: The old six-break table at Lv 20/30/40/50/54/60 is not the Resonance ladder. Star Dust, Star Sand and Starcryst Essence are Capability Awakening materials for Acquired Potential, not Basic, Standard and Advanced Resonance currencies. Use the Potential guide for that separate system.

The table below treats each cost and bonus as an entry requirement for that stage. Once you enter a stage, complete the number of Star-Ups in its last column before the following Ascension becomes available.

Counter Boost and Capability Awakening: Stage 4 grants Counter Boost +20%. Stages 5, 6 and 7 list Capability Awakening Count +5, +8 and +10. These are bonuses for entering each stage, not extra Star-Up rows.

The standard route to Stage 7 costs 870 regional Dewdrop Crystals, 40 assigned elemental stones and 3 Phenomena Crystals: 645 crystals for Star-Ups and 225 for Ascensions. Check the exact Aniimo profile for any additional family material.

Star-Up costs and fixed stat gains

The steps repeat inside larger stages: Stage 1 contains the first row, Stage 2 contains the first two, and so on through six rows in Stage 6. Stage 7 is the terminal Ascension and has no further Star-Up row.

Regional Dewdrop cost and reward for each Star-Up position
One complete transaction, before and after: For Emberpup, the first Star-Up costs 20 Breezy Plains Dewdrop Crystals for ATK +10 / BREAK +5. Stage 2 requires Lv 35, 20 Breezy Plains Dewdrop Crystals and 2 Blaze Stones, and grants ATK/BREAK/HP +2%.

For a second concrete profile, the current Glynsera data assigns Breezy Plains Dewdrop Crystal for Star-Up, Freeze Stone for Ascension and Flux Crystal as the substitute. That per-Aniimo assignment changes the item name, not the shared cost pattern above.

The four material roles in the Resonance ladder

Acquisition lists differ by crystal. The regional item records include routes such as Elite Training, Alpha or Omega encounters, Pathfinder challenges, level rewards, the Companion Handbook (Aniimo's battle pass), shops and chests. Open the linked item page for the exact configured routes rather than assuming that every regional crystal shares one farm.

Do duplicate captures award Dewdrops?

Duplicate captures are not the Resonance farm. The training tutorial marks “catching Aniimo yields Dewdrop Crystals” as incorrect and points you toward Alpha Aniimo, and the progression table spends regional crystals. Some families also list a family-specific Ascension material; check the exact Aniimo profile before farming. This does not replace the regional crystal cost for Star-Ups.

Farm the assigned regional crystal: A duplicate catch can still advance research or an objective, so it is not wasted. For Resonance, though, build the route around the regional Dewdrop Crystal named on your Aniimo’s profile.

Plan Resonance without confusing the other systems

Resonance adds fixed base-attribute gains and stage bonuses. Capability Awakening separately raises Acquired Potential within caps that unlock gradually with Aniimo level and Resonance star rank. Star rank therefore gates Awakening headroom as well as Resonance bonuses, while ordinary levelling separately meets the Ascension gates. The progression guide puts those layers in spending order, the Potential development ladder prices every Capability Awakening point so you can weigh it against the next Star-Up, and the exact data-first ladder remains available on the Resonance Training table.

Investment can move within a family: There is no material refund, but Inherit moves Resonance stage and star rank to an eligible same-family Aniimo. That protects one developed family profile; building several profiles at once still consumes separate materials.
  1. Check the target’s assigned regional and elemental materials before farming.
  2. Reserve the next Ascension cost before finishing the current stage’s last Star-Up.
  3. Treat Stages 6 and 7 as a separate plan because they add Phenomena Crystal.
  4. Use Inherit when an eligible same-family replacement is better than starting a second profile from zero.

Frequently asked

What is Resonance called in Aniimo?

The parent screen is Aniimo Training and the tab is Resonance & Ascension. The Help entry names the ladder Resonance Star-Up, with Star Up for fixed stat steps and Ascend for entering the next stage.

What materials does Resonance use?

Star-Ups spend the Aniimo’s assigned regional Dewdrop Crystal, and Ascension spends training crystals and its assigned elemental stone. Flux Crystal substitutes through the conversion flow, and Phenomena Crystal is added at the Stage 6 and Stage 7 gates.

Do duplicate captures give Resonance Dewdrop Crystals?

No. The training tutorial rejects ordinary catching as the regional Dewdrop source. Family-specific crystals are a different currency, and their item text only gives a chance from a same-family catch.

Can Resonance progress move to another Aniimo?

Inherit moves Resonance stage and star rank to an eligible recipient in the same family. Resonance remains separate from Capability Awakening, which raises Acquired Potential with Star Dust, Star Sand and Starcryst Essence. Aniimo level and Resonance star rank gradually unlock its caps, so star rank gates Awakening headroom as well as Resonance bonuses.
