Choose your next upgrade

- 1Choose the team and job first
Name the problem: a Fire rotation consumes its own stacks, a channel runs too long, a healer recovers too slowly, or summons disappear before BREAK. Pick the upgrade that addresses that problem.
- 2Check the base kit and unlocks
Train the Aniimo you will actually field and confirm both equipped skills are unlocked. Glacy’s Glimmer Shot and Gracewing’s alternate heals have separate form requirements; upgrading the Core Skill does not grant them.
- 3Compare a changed rotation with a larger number
Irisalis gains another clone from Shadow, Magmarex keeps Fire stacks, and Gachapus shortens a channel. Those changes can matter before a small scaled buff, but only if you use the matching rotation.
- 4Check recipients, positioning and trigger conditions
Gracewing’s extra healing benefits Wind Aniimo. Melloblum needs Grass critical hits. Fragrancier needs Dark basics against marked targets. Tuckin’s upgrade protects Hummin. A condition your team cannot satisfy has no value to that team.
- 5Spend, test one repeatable opening, then reassess
Compare the same target, team and equipment before committing more resources. Record whether you finish the intended rotation and survive it. Keep remaining stones until the next upgrade has a clear job.
Compare base and boosted Core Skills
Compare 13 Core Skill upgrades for the builds below. Search by Aniimo or skill, then choose how you plan to use it. The list covers selected team-building choices; it is not the complete Core Skill roster. HP-scaled and EP-recovery-scaled examples need your own stat context.

GrassIrisalis
Irisalis Shadow- Base skill
- 40 EP. A successful hit summons one Iris Clone for 30 seconds. Recasting resets the clones.
- After Skill Boost
- The same successful cast summons an additional Iris Clone. The hit requirement and reset behavior remain.
- When to spend
- Consider early when Irisalis is your established carry and you can reliably land Shadow and command its clones.
- Full combat kit
- Use Rain and completed basic chains after confirming two clones. Do not recast Shadow merely to add another clone.
- Egg Heist support slot
- The extra clone needs compatible follow-up commands. Do not value a borrowed Shadow as though Rain and the entire Irisalis kit come with it.
FireMagmarex
Lava Punch- Base skill
- 20 EP. Consumes all Fire Debuff on the target, adding 5% Might for each consumed stack.
- After Skill Boost
- Adds the same 5% Might per Fire Debuff stack without consuming those stacks.
- When to spend
- A strong candidate when preserving Fire stacks is the condition that makes your chosen rotation work.
- Full combat kit
- Build stacks on the same target, then repeat Lava Punch while that target remains available.
- Egg Heist support slot
- Check who supplies Fire Debuff. A stack-preserving attack has little special value against an unprepared target.
WaterGachapus
Clearance Sale- Base skill
- 40 EP. Channels the barrage for five seconds; its damage counts as basic attack damage.
- After Skill Boost
- Completes the channel in four seconds while retaining the basic attack damage classification.
- When to spend
- Prioritize if the shorter channel lets your practiced Super Jackpot opening fit its intended attacks.
- Full combat kit
- Two channels still need 80 EP, plus any setup cost. Use a one-channel fallback when time, EP or safety runs out.
- Egg Heist support slot
- A shorter channel can reduce exposure. Do not assume the borrowed attack includes Super Jackpot or its supporting budget.
LightningFulmintis
Lightning Blade Storm- Base skill
- A sustained channel ends in a spinning slash. Each three consecutive slashes adds 100% damage to that finisher.
- After Skill Boost
- Increases consecutive-slash frequency by 20%. The three-slash finisher breakpoints remain.
- When to spend
- Useful for an established channel carry with enough EP and a safe opening. Faster slashes do not remove those requirements.
- Full combat kit
- Prepare Enhanced Lightning Blade, channel, and release at a three-slash breakpoint before danger forces an interruption.
- Egg Heist support slot
- Budget the ongoing energy drain. Do not apply the full-kit damage expectation without its setup skill and support.
DarkStellarys
Shooting Stars- Base skill
- 20 EP. Fires three homing stars. Each damaging star grants 1% Damage Boost, up to 15 stacks.
- After Skill Boost
- Fires five homing stars and raises the Damage Boost cap to 20 stacks. Hits still earn the stacks.
- When to spend
- Useful when Stellarys gets repeated, connected casts in your sustained damage rotation.
- Full combat kit
- Keep the clone setup and basic-attack window working. Five projectiles are not a guarantee that all five hit.
- Egg Heist support slot
- Evaluate the stars and the user’s stack gain on their own. The support skill does not supply Shadow Magic.
WaterGlacy
Healing Water- Base skill
- 20 EP. Heals all allies for 10% of the caster’s maximum HP; heals the caster for 12% over five seconds.
- After Skill Boost
- Delivers the caster’s same 12% self-heal over 2.5 seconds. The 10% ally heal is unchanged.
- When to spend
- Choose for faster recovery of the skill user. It does not increase the immediate healing given to allies.
- Full combat kit
- Healing Water already works before upgrading. Glimmer Shot is a separate Prismana-form skill unlock.
- Egg Heist support slot
- Compare the benefit of quicker caster recovery with a support skill that improves the part of your run actually failing.
WindGracewing
Wind of Rejuvenation- Base skill
- 20 EP. Heals the team for 9% of the caster’s maximum HP over eight seconds, with an extra 3% for Wind Aniimo.
- After Skill Boost
- The extra Wind healing becomes 6%. The general 9% healing and eight-second duration stay the same.
- When to spend
- Worth more to a team that needs additional Wind healing than to a team of other elements.
- Full combat kit
- Purifying Dance and the ultimate supply separate utility. This upgrade does not improve their effects.
- Egg Heist support slot
- Check the element of the Aniimo that needs healing. The boosted part specifically benefits Wind recipients.
LightningLuminelle
Spotlight Moment- Base skill
- 0 EP. Grants Lightning teammates basic attack damage and BREAK bonuses for 15 seconds. Both bonuses scale with HP.
- After Skill Boost
- Raises both HP-scaled bonuses. The captured comparison shows basic damage 23% → 26% and BREAK 13% → 16% at its displayed setup.
- When to spend
- Useful when the team benefits from both the basic-attack buff and Lightning BREAK. Read the values at your own HP before spending.
- Full combat kit
- Cast just before the Lightning damage window. The trait and ultimate are separate buffs with their own conditions.
- Egg Heist support slot
- Evaluate Spotlight itself. Do not include Arc Surge or the ultimate when judging a Core Skill-only support slot.
LightningBlazen
Electrified Impact- Base skill
- 20 EP. Dashes through blocking and refunds 5 EP on a critical hit. Power Sustain cuts skill costs by 12 EP while Overcharged.
- After Skill Boost
- Electrified Impact costs another 3 EP less while Overcharged. It still needs a critical hit for the refund.
- When to spend
- Useful when you consistently enter Overcharged and land critical hits during its six-second window.
- Full combat kit
- The listed reductions give a 5 EP upfront cost while boosted and Overcharged, followed by a 5 EP refund only on a crit.
- Egg Heist support slot
- Do not assume borrowing Electrified Impact grants Power Sustain or Overcharged. Without that state, its added discount does not activate.
GrassMelloblum
Thorny Blessing- Base skill
- 30 EP. Grass critical hits trigger thorns for 14 seconds, at most once every 0.5 seconds.
- After Skill Boost
- Extends the blessing to 21 seconds. The critical-hit condition and 0.5-second trigger limit stay unchanged.
- When to spend
- Useful when a Grass critical-hit team can make use of the extra seven seconds, including time spent switching.
- Full combat kit
- Prepare the blessing and, when charged, Rose Garden. The ultimate increases Grass critical damage, not critical rate.
- Egg Heist support slot
- Check that the active damage dealer can trigger Grass critical hits. The borrowed blessing does not bring Rose Garden with it.
DarkFragrancier
Fragrance Marking- Base skill
- 0 EP. Marks targets for 15 seconds, increasing Dark basic attack damage against them by 25%.
- After Skill Boost
- Dark basic attacks also have a 25% chance to trigger a hit with the Might of Fragrancier’s basic attack, at most once every 0.5 seconds.
- When to spend
- Useful for repeated Dark basics against a marked target. The proc chance is not an extra 25% total damage multiplier.
- Full combat kit
- Mark the target your Dark carry will attack, then hand over promptly. Refresh for a new target when available.
- Egg Heist support slot
- Match it to a Dark basic-attack plan. Do not count the full Fragrancier resistance reduction and ultimate as part of this one skill.
EarthTuckin
Nutrient Absorption- Base skill
- 30 EP. Roots Tuckin with 20% damage reduction and 2% healing per second; immediately heals Hummin for 50% and buffs nearby Hummin damage and BREAK by 20%.
- After Skill Boost
- Also gives nearby Hummin 20% damage reduction and 2% continuous healing per second. The original immediate heal and offensive bonuses remain.
- When to spend
- Useful when keeping Hummin alive preserves BREAK pressure. It does not turn the skill into party healing.
- Full combat kit
- Establish summons, root during a safe window, then command them. Use Breaking Roar when charged to restore the maximum summon count.
- Egg Heist support slot
- A Hummin-focused upgrade needs Hummin. Avoid spending for a borrowed heal that you expect to restore ordinary teammates.
LightSomniwing
Ethereal Light Wave- Base skill
- 0 EP. The wave absorbs projectiles and improves allies’ EP recovery along its path for 20 seconds. The bonus scales with EP recovery.
- After Skill Boost
- Additionally restores 5 EP to the user. It does not change the existing recovery buff into an instant 5 EP heal for the whole team.
- When to spend
- Useful when the caster can use the immediate EP and the team can benefit from the wave’s recovery support.
- Full combat kit
- Aim through allies and time the wave before resource-heavy skills. The captured 23% recovery bonus is a scaled example.
- Egg Heist support slot
- Judge the immediate self refill and path-based recovery separately. Confirm the recipient and positioning before building a rotation around it.
Evaluate an Egg Heist support skill on its own
A support-slot decision needs the effect of the selected Core Skill. Do not add the owner’s trait, second equipped skill or ultimate to its expected value. Read the current mode’s slot rules and identify who casts the skill, who receives the effect, and what setup it requires.

- Recipient
Glacy speeds up the caster’s self-heal; Gracewing adds Wind-specific healing; Tuckin protects Hummin. These are different jobs.
- Required state
Blazen’s added discount needs Overcharged. Confirm that your kit can activate the state.
- Damage type
Fragrance Marking improves Dark basics; Thorny Blessing triggers from Grass critical hits.
- Missing setup
An Irisalis clone or a sustained Fulmintis channel needs more than a promising upgrade description to become a complete rotation.
Use the Egg Heist guide for the run itself and the team-building guide to prepare a full combat team.
Keep your stone budget tied to the current build
Use the item’s current Obtain panel and available event rewards to plan acquisition. Budget the stones you have and can currently obtain, and check whether any refund is offered before committing. Check the displayed owner carefully when a Core Skill is shared by an evolution family. Plan other training costs with the Resonance guide.
- If only one upgrade is affordable, favor the change your next planned team needs over a bonus for an unused future team.
- If the base skill already solves the problem, keep playing it while testing whether the upgrade would improve a real failure point.
- Keep Resonance, carried-item and form-unlock plans separate. A Prismatic Stone upgrade does not replace their costs or prerequisites.

Frequently asked
Does Glacy’s Core Skill upgrade increase the team heal?
No. Healing Water still heals allies for 10% of the caster’s maximum HP. The caster’s separate 12% self-heal completes in 2.5 seconds instead of five.
Is Luminelle’s upgraded buff always 26%?
No. Spotlight Moment scales with HP. The 23% to 26% basic-damage comparison is a captured setup, not a fixed value for every Luminelle. Read the tooltip at your own stats.
Can I choose the best upgrade from a single tier list?
Use your team’s rotation and the skill’s conditions. A stack-preserving attack, a Wind-specific heal and a summon survival upgrade solve different problems.
