Stat priorities

Start with the first priority and work down. These are practical build goals, not simulated stat weights.

  1. 1. ATK

Shooting Stars and the glide attacks deal magic damage.

  2. 2. EP recovery

The 20-EP attacks compete for the same rotation budget.

  3. 3. Damage and critical rate

Improve matching attack damage after the cast sequence is sustainable.

Party blueprints

Use Witchin and Fragrancier for Dark pressure, Helmut and Glacy for boss safety, or Rainstorm Stellarys and Piopiota for Water coverage. Core slots define this blueprint. Replace a flex member only if its replacement still covers the job described on the card.

Combat loadouts

Skill, basics, reposition

Grand Sorcerer rewards alternation while Shadow Magic makes position part of the damage plan. Each loadout has two active skill slots; the fifth entry is an optional swap for slot 2.

Carried items

Build the twin for three encounter types

Ferocious Fang sets the ATK baseline, Fission Needles rewards the basic chain and recovery loop, Destiny's Dice favors clone burst, and Rookey or Helmut supplies BREAK.

Quick rotation5 steps · follow in order

Fight beside your shadow

Keep the clone alive, alternate rapidly and recast only when the position wins.

  1. Step 1: Escape with Shadow Magic

Break control, retreat and leave the 20-second clone behind.

  2. Step 2: Keep the twin in range

Stay within 20 metres so the clone remains active and mimics attacks and skills at 20% damage.

  3. Step 3: Cast Shooting Stars

Land the homing stars to build 1% damage stacks, up to 15 before enhancement.

  4. Step 4: Use the five-second basic window

After each skill, fit a basic chain while Grand Sorcerer adds 5 Might to every hit.

  5. Step 5: Swap positions deliberately

Recast Shadow Magic to cross the target, dodge pressure or preserve ranged spacing.

Execution notes

Make the build hold together

Use these encounter rules to preserve the rotation instead of forcing the same sequence into every target.

Control-heavy fights

Hold Shadow Magic for the cleanse instead of treating the clone as a routine opener.

Ranged pressure

Glide only gains the 10% EP recovery buff after hitting the same target three times.
