Stat priorities

Start with the first priority and work down. These are practical build goals, not simulated stat weights.

  1. 1. Lava Punch upgrade

This is the build’s prerequisite. The base version removes all Fire Debuff; the upgraded description retains stack-scaled damage without that removal.

  2. 2. ATK and damage

The core attacks are physical. Start with consistent damage rather than treating a BREAK role label as a reason to ignore offense.

  3. 3. EP recovery and survival

Lava Punch costs 20 EP per cast. Fund repeated punches and survive close range before adding another damage-only teammate.

Party blueprints

A Fire core with two problem-solving slots

Keep Flamerion for stack support, then choose the remaining slots for EP, healing, cleanse or BREAK. Core slots define this blueprint. Replace a flex member only if its replacement still covers the job described on the card.

Stack-preserving carry

Retained HeatRecommended

Magmarex and Flamerion are the core. Somniwing is an EP flex slot; Glacy provides healing and a damage buff.

Core · Fire stacks and EP

Phantom Barrage recovers EP based on Fire stacks; its ultimate rapidly applies twelve stacks.

SomniwingBasic

Flex · EP support

Light Wave supports EP recovery; Hypnosis sets up one hit and breaks as soon as damage lands.

GlacyBasic

Flex · Heal and damage buff

Healing Water heals allies from caster max HP; Glimmer Shot adds 15% team damage for 15s.

Debuff-heavy encounters

Clean FurnaceCleanse option

Gracewing replaces the healer when cleanse is more valuable than Glimmer Shot.

Additional BREAK utility

Double FractureBREAK option

Rookey trades EP support for BREAK utility. Use this only when meter pressure, rather than EP, is the limiting factor.

Combat loadouts

Separate the upgraded carry from the fallback

The pre-upgrade loadout deliberately avoids repeated stack consumption. Each loadout has two active skill slots; the fifth entry is an optional swap for slot 2.

Carried items

Build physical damage without losing uptime

Use the item tooltip conditions to compare these alternatives. No fixed best-in-slot ranking is claimed.

Stack, punch, reposition, restore

Preserving the same target’s Fire Debuff is the center of the loop.

  1. Step 1: Build on one target

Use Lava Breath or Flamerion’s Phantom Flame Cannon to establish Fire Debuff. Flamerion’s ultimate applies twelve stacks; switching enemies does not move those stacks.

  2. Step 2: Punch through the same target

Spend 20 EP on upgraded Lava Punch. Its additional damage scales with Fire stacks at 5% Might per stack. Reposition after the dash before casting again.

  3. Step 3: Refill against existing stacks

Phantom Barrage’s EP recovery scales at 2 per Fire stack, capped at 18. An unstacked enemy does not provide the maximum recovery.

  4. Step 4: Keep the damage window

Burning Sun gains 2% damage per Fire stack on the target. Use Magma Surge for its conditional stun when needed, and rebuild rather than overextend at low EP.

Execution notes

Make the build hold together

Use these encounter rules to preserve the rotation instead of forcing the same sequence into every target.

The upgrade changes the role

Without the upgrade, use Magmarex for BREAK and Fire application. With it, the retained stacks support repeated punches and a carry role.

Do not pair two stack spenders blindly

Infergon consumes Fire stacks with Flaming Claws. If adding another Fire attacker, assign one carry window and rebuild between spenders.

Dash alignment matters

Lava Punch pierces targets. A bad angle or automatic target change can leave the next punch hitting an unstacked enemy.
