Perfecting an Aniimo for free is a sequence, not a lucky purchase. This walkthrough follows one Scorchhowl from appraisal to a finished damage build, with every target written down before the first material is spent.

Feed until the E trait reaches +10% P.ATK and the named effect is Clingy.
The Fresh Scorchhowl We Are Building
Scorchhowl earns the example because its progression layers line up. Its current Aniilog record publishes the complete six-stat card, its build marks ATK first and REGEN second, and its equipment panel names Ferocious Fang. It is a DPS with a 170-might Ultimate and a trait that adds 15% damage against an elemental weakness, so every ATK point has a clear job.
There are two no-spend starts. The direct route is to earn a Sparkling Cube through play and reserve it for this catch, which guarantees Perfect Potential. The training route starts from the catch you already have and uses Capability Awakening. Below Lv. 60, that Awakening can be reset at any time and its training items are returned, so an early allocation does not trap the build.
The worked training sheet assumes 10 Innate Potential in every stat, a 60-point Innate total. Check all six values on your own Aniimo: the Perfect badge alone does not establish this exact starting distribution.
| Stat | Species card | Innate start | Direct target |
|---|---|---|---|
| HP | 90 | 10 | 20 |
| ATK | 115 | 10 | 20 |
| P.DEF | 80 | 10 | 20 |
| M.DEF | 70 | 10 | 20 |
| BREAK | 50 | 10 | 20 |
| REGEN | 90 | 10 | 20 |
For this starting distribution, each stat needs 10 Acquired Potential to reach the example's direct target of 20: 6 × (20 − 10) = 60 Acquired points. A 60/60 Awakening allowance is consistent with that remaining capacity. Once all six direct values reach 20, there is no room for another 30 points in those stats.
Add 60 Acquired Potential Points
Scorchhowl's priority is ATK first and REGEN second. Spend the first 20 points there, then complete HP, P.DEF, M.DEF and BREAK. The Potential guide explains appraisal and grades; this is the exact sheet for the tracked copy.
Capability caps unlock gradually with Aniimo level and Resonance star rank. If the next point is locked, advance those two layers instead of spending around the block. Any allocation made below Lv. 60 can be reset, with the training items returned.
| Stat | Add | Direct result | Additional conversion |
|---|---|---|---|
| ATK | +10 | 20 | +20 ATK and +16% ATK |
| REGEN | +10 | 20 | +30 REGEN and 6% normal-skill cooldown reduction |
| HP | +10 | 20 | +400 HP and +16% HP |
| P.DEF | +10 | 20 | +30 P.DEF and +16% P.DEF |
| M.DEF | +10 | 20 | +30 M.DEF and +16% M.DEF |
| BREAK | +10 | 20 | +40 BREAK and +4% critical rate |
Star DustRaise the first points
Star SandContinue through the middle tier
Starcryst EssenceClose the expensive final points
All three materials have no-spend routes. Alphas and level rewards supply Star Dust and Star Sand, 5 Star Dust exchange for 1 Star Sand, and Omegas plus species research supply Star Essence. Legendary Star Dust output is also higher in the launch build.
For this sheet, count 60 Acquired points and stop each field when the direct value reads 20.
Reach Level 60 and Resonance Stage 7
Level 60 matters because Resonance stages 6 and 7 are locked behind levels 55 and 60. The leveling route owns the XP path; the ledger below starts when each level gate opens.
| Stage | Level gate | Cost for this stage | Fixed gains and stage bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | None | 20 Dewdrop Crystals | ATK +10, BREAK +5 |
| 2 | 25 | 45 Dewdrop Crystals, 1 Blaze Stone | ATK +10, BREAK +5, P.DEF +5, M.DEF +5; ATK, BREAK and HP +2% |
| 3 | 35 | 75 Dewdrop Crystals, 2 Blaze Stones | ATK +10, BREAK +5, P.DEF +5, M.DEF +5, HP +320, REGEN +8; REGEN, P.DEF and M.DEF +2% |
| 4 | 45 | 115 Dewdrop Crystals, 3 Blaze Stones | ATK +10, BREAK +5, P.DEF +10, M.DEF +10, HP +320, REGEN +8; ATK, BREAK and HP +1 |
| 5 | 50 | 165 Dewdrop Crystals, 4 Blaze Stones | ATK +20, BREAK +10, P.DEF +10, M.DEF +10, HP +320, REGEN +8; REGEN, P.DEF and M.DEF +1 |
| 6 | 55 | 225 Dewdrop Crystals, 5 Blaze Stones, 1 Omnisource Crystal | ATK +20, BREAK +10, P.DEF +10, M.DEF +10, HP +640, REGEN +16; all six Potentials +1 |
| 7 | 60 | 6 Blaze Stones, 2 Omnisource Crystals | All six Potentials +2 |
The six training rows add up to ATK +80, BREAK +40, P.DEF +40, M.DEF +40, HP +1,600 and REGEN +40 before the stage bonuses. The material totals are 645 Dewdrop Crystals, 21 Blaze Stones and 3 Omnisource Crystals.
Every total has a free route. Dewdrop Crystals come from Alphas, chests, level rewards and a 2,400-Credit vendor listing. Blaze Stones come from Alphas or the 40,000-Credit vendor listing. Omnisource Crystals come from Elite Pathfinder Challenges, level rewards and exchange shops. The Resonance guide covers where each gate sits in the menu.
Choose and Enhance Ferocious Fang
The carried-item decision is now about the item's base effect, core effect and enhancement track. Ferocious Fang fits Scorchhowl because its base effect supplies 10% Damage Amp and its core effect adds 0.8 ATK per Aniimo level. At level 60, the core contributes 48 ATK.
Use the legendary Ferocious Fang and enhance it to level 15. Legendary Ferocious Fang drops from Alphas, so the item itself has a no-spend route. There is no secondary socket hunt after it drops. Choose the Fang for the two effects that support Scorchhowl, then finish its enhancement.
The Potential and item layers stay separate:
| Layer | Finished target | What it contributes |
|---|---|---|
| Direct Potential | 20 in all six stats | The trained six-field foundation |
| Resonance | Stage 7 | Fixed stat gains and six extra Potential in each field |
| Ferocious Fang | Legendary, level 15 | 10% Damage Amp and the level-scaling ATK core |
| Sparkling Cube route | Perfect Potential catch | The direct alternative to building a normal catch through Awakening |
The carried items guide explains base effects, core effects and enhancement. This build answers why Ferocious Fang fits this Scorchhowl and where it belongs in the upgrade order.
Feed the Last Personality Roll
Personality is the final free reroll. Scorchhowl's attacks and priority both point to the E trait: its maximum tier adds 10% P.ATK. The named Clingy effect adds another 2% ATK and 5% BREAK.
Feeding changes Personality. Stop when E reads +10% P.ATK and the named effect reads Clingy.
The Complete No-Spend Checklist
That is the full free finish for this Scorchhowl. A Sparkling Cube gives the direct Perfect Potential catch, while Capability Awakening builds another catch toward the same direct target without locking in mistakes below Lv. 60. The order after that choice stays simple: open each cap with levels and Resonance, finish the fixed Resonance gains, enhance the carried item and complete Personality.
