What Aniimo Discovery is

The Institute hands out free search attempts on a schedule across four periods beginning 25 September, 28 September, 2 October and 5 October. Unused free attempts do not accumulate.

When the free attempts are gone you can keep searching by spending Vein Essence, and investigation quest progress unlocks search bonuses in the Research Center that make later searches land faster.

How to take part

1. Spend the free attempts firstThey are replenished periodically and lost if you do not use them before the next top-up.
2. Clear the investigation questsQuest progress is what unlocks the Research Center bonuses, so the quests pay twice.
3. Extend with Vein EssenceOnce free attempts run out, Vein Essence plus a search attempt continues the hunt.
4. Catch DazmandThe track ends in an ordinary catch, so bring pods that suit a Lightning target.

The best line of play

• Log in on each period start. The four top-ups are the entire free budget of the event and they overwrite rather than stack.
• Do the investigation quests before burning Vein Essence. Research Center bonuses apply to every search that follows, so quest-first is strictly cheaper.
• Keep the Perfect Dazmand Egg for the Hatch Haste weekend. Halved hatch time on a guaranteed Perfect hatch is the best use of a Friday.
