Stat priorities

Start with the first priority and work down. These are practical build goals, not simulated stat weights.

  1. 1. ATK

Flaming Claws is the physical cash-out skill; Lava Breath supplies the setup.

  2. 2. Fire damage and critical rate

Apply compatible buffs while the target remains above five Fire stacks.

  3. 3. EP recovery

Reserve EP for both claw casts instead of spending it all on setup.

Party blueprints

Three ways to protect the Fire setup

Use Magmarex with Glacy for tempo, Gracewing for cleanse, or Rookey for the most predictable debuff-safe BREAK. Core slots define this blueprint. Replace a flex member only if its replacement still covers the job described on the card.

Boss burst

Forms and typing

Pure Fire from start to finish

Infergon channels its full kit through one Fire form, so teammates supply the matchup coverage.

Combat loadouts

Cash out or shield the approach

Lava Breath supplies eight stacks and Flaming Claws consumes two per hit; Fiery Charge can lead when the setup needs a 10-second shield. Each loadout has two active skill slots; the fifth entry is an optional swap for slot 2.

Carried items

Build for the detonation window

Ferocious Fang and Destiny's Dice bias ATK and crit burst, Explosive Gloves adds damage while current EP remains high, Flamerion keeps the cycle moving, and Magmarex or Rookey supplies BREAK.

Quick rotation5 steps · follow in order

Debuff, BREAK, detonate

Ordering matters more than button speed.

  1. Step 1: Load Fire Debuff

Use Flamerion and Lava Breath to move safely above the five-stack threshold.

  2. Step 2: Break without wiping the setup

Use Magma Surge or other BREAK tools; avoid an unupgraded Lava Punch that removes every stack.

  3. Step 3: Switch to Infergon

Enter while the target is broken and still holds more than five Fire Debuff stacks.

  4. Step 4: Cast both Flaming Claws

Use the stronger recast within five seconds and budget for the two-stack consumption on each hit.

  5. Step 5: Refresh before the threshold drops

Return to Lava Breath or Flamerion before Infergon loses Power of Fire.

Execution notes

Make the build hold together

Use these encounter rules to preserve the rotation instead of forcing the same sequence into every target.

Magmarex ordering

Magma Surge can stun at more than five stacks; base Lava Punch removes all stacks, so save it or upgrade it first.

Healer choice

Glacy adds team damage through Glimmer Shot; Gracewing is the cleanse-and-EP option.
