Your first job is opening the enemy bar for the damage dealer. Compare time to BREAK at equal investment.
Splash Shield scales from maximum HP and rolling keeps you close to the enemy.
Shield plus roll costs 50 EP before any refill. Rolling also drains stamina; leave enough to escape.
Use the family pair for a full Water setup or start with self-made puddles and the attacker you already trained. Core slots define this blueprint. Replace a flex member only if its replacement still covers the job described on the card.
Choose a Piopiota of the opposite sex to Panpanta. Matching Sherro’s sex to Panpanta also lets Piopiota’s Radiant Charm support both. Healing can consume the same puddles you need for BREAK.

Use Piopiota’s Water Cannon or Surf before entering with Panpanta. Without a terrain partner, equip and cast Water Cannon yourself.
Keep an opposite-sex Susuta-family teammate in the roster for Appeal. A quick swap does not bypass its 20-second cooldown.
With the partner loadout, cast Splash Shield and then Hydro Roll close enough to absorb water. Keep the rolling hitbox on the target; save stamina to leave danger.
As soon as the enemy reaches BREAK, switch to your prepared damage dealer. Continuing to roll can waste the window you created.
Refill EP and stamina, heal if needed and make another puddle. If healing consumed the last one, reset the terrain before starting the next roll.
Use these encounter rules to preserve the rotation instead of forcing the same sequence into every target.
Appeal and puddle absorption each describe a 30% BREAK-efficiency effect for 15s. Their stacking formula is not specified, so do not budget the team around an assumed 60% or 69% total.
The basic puddle-and-roll plan does not require Prismana. Water Cannonade adds Water Debuff on its eligible form; keep ordinary Water Cannon as the accessible option.
End the commitment instead of rolling through empty space. Reposition, use basic attacks in short openings and rebuild the puddle where the target actually stops.
Splash Shield grants a shield based on 6% maximum HP for 15s and an additional damage instance on skill hits, with a 0.5s trigger interval. It does not make you immune to attacks.
