Irisalis Transmog without wasted currency

Check your unlocked slots before buying appearance currency. Glimmering Driftshadow is an early-stage option with strict limits; Radiant Dreamshadow supports later slots and locked rolls. Decide whether you want an inexpensive early look or a finished appearance before you advance the meter.

Choose your goal before buying

  • I only want an early appearance

Check that Glimmering Driftshadow is still selectable and leave every part unlocked. Buy only what you plan to spend now.

  • I want later parts or locked rerolls

Budget Radiant Dreamshadow. Reaching the fourth unlocked slot closes the Glimmering option; locking parts also requires Radiant currency.

  • I already unlocked the fourth slot

Use Radiant Dreamshadow. Clearing your locks does not restore Glimmering eligibility after that progression gate.

The Legendary Journey Shop sells one Glimmering Driftshadow for 2 Irisalis Petals after you craft the Irisalis pod. Keep the 30-Petal Floral Rainbow Feather reserved if combat is your priority. The Irisalis unlock guide covers the rest of the Petal budget.

What each currency can do

G
Early stages
Glimmering Driftshadow
Only the first three slots are eligible, and only before the fourth slot unlocks. It cannot be used with locked parts and does not build progression for restricted or later parts.
R
Full progression
Radiant Dreamshadow
Use it for later slots, progression and rolls that preserve locked parts. The roll cost rises with the number of locks.
The fourth-slot gate is the expensive decision: Glimmering currency becomes ineligible when slot four unlocks. Do not buy a large stock just because it costs Petals instead of Glimmer. Confirm the selected currency and displayed cost before every roll.

When both currencies are owned and Glimmering meets its conditions, the game consumes Glimmering first. Check the currency selector rather than assuming the item you intended to spend is selected.

Lock good parts only when they are worth the cost

These are total costs per roll. Three locks cost eight items, not four.

  1. 1Save a look you would keep

Store a useful result as a custom plan before continuing. Preview it on Irisalis so a good individual part does not distract you from the complete appearance.

  2. 2Name the part you are chasing

Lock only the parts you would refuse to replace. Every extra lock doubles the current roll cost.

  3. 3Set a spending limit

Divide your remaining Radiant currency by the displayed roll cost. With 16 items, you have 16 unlocked rolls, eight one-lock rolls, four two-lock rolls or two three-lock rolls.

  4. 4Stop when the budget is spent

Keep the saved appearance instead of buying more currency because the previous rolls were disappointing.

Locked rolls also change bonus chances and progression. Compare the cost and progress preview together; an unlocked roll count is not a valid budget for a plan with three locked parts.

04

Progression and saved plans are different decisions

Progress unlocks slotsThe meter unlocks more appearance parts as it advances. Its thresholds are 0, 150, 400, 750 and 1,200. Check the next unlocked part before committing another roll.
Plans preserve an appearanceThere are five custom saved plans and a temporary-result list of up to ten entries. Save the result you want to keep before relying on the temporary list.
A Legendary part is not a complete setThe Transmog help describes a Legendary part guarantee within 62 attempts. It does not promise a particular part, matching set or finished appearance for that budget.

Open Irisalis’s details, choose Transmog, then switch the current plan to a saved appearance. Previewing and selecting an existing plan are separate from purchasing another random roll.

Frequently asked

How many Irisalis Transmogrification Presets can I save?

Five. The September 30 update increased the saved-preset limit from three to five. Save a look you want to keep before making more rolls; the temporary-result list is separate.

Can I use Glimmering Driftshadow after unlocking the fourth slot?

No. The Glimmering eligibility check closes at the fourth unlocked slot. Removing locks does not undo that gate.

How much does a roll with three locked parts cost?

Eight Radiant Dreamshadow. Costs are one, two, four and eight for zero through three locked parts.
