Binding Oath: Ron and the three Vine Cores
Twine with Celestis, Fly into the root-covered ruin and approach the Strange Hummin. The encounter starts a scene that reveals Ron and his Hummin, then adds three branches: a Vine Core in the eastern ruins, western swamp and northern cave. No manual Untwine or extra Hummin interaction is needed. Take the three cores in any order; east, west, then north keeps the travel short.
After the third core, follow Give Vine Core to Ron and complete the hand-in. The tracker then changes to Find Selens. Detour through the adjacent Twisted Roots portal before you go to Selens. If the northern cave is still blocked, use a Fire-capable Aniimo on the red thorn barrier and wait for it to burn away. Omega Tuckin appears after Binding Oath.
Route, step by step
The puzzle is outside. Three thick vines wrap the entrance, and each one runs away from the door to a Vine Core; destroying all three opens it. Inside there is one straight corridor with a single premium chest and no trial Aniimo, so the whole interior is a walk with one stop.

The entrance is sealed by three thick vines. Follow each vine away from the door to its core, destroy all three, and the entrance opens.
- 2Walk the straight corridor
Inside there is one straight passage and no trial Aniimo. The statue on your way in is a blessing statue, not a trial, so there is nothing to Twine with. Keep to the centre; the only drop is at the sides.
- 3Open the premium chestOptionalChest 1
The single chest sits in the corridor before the end. Open it and confirm 1/1, because the Terminus ends the room.
- 4Touch the Terminus
Use Touch on the Sanctum Terminus at the far end to restore the Vein. Find Selens is still active afterwards, so leave and follow it to Bloom: Mistwoods.
Checkpoints and hazards
Twisted Roots has no interior checkpoints. The entrance pad is the only respawn point in the room, which costs you nothing, because the single hazard is the drop along both sides of the corridor and the whole walk is under a minute. Nothing here is timed.
The interior is a straight one-chest room
The room holds one chest and it is premium. Open it on the way through and confirm the counter reads 1/1 before the far stairs; the drops vary between runs, so the counter is the check, not the contents.
