Holo-Battle Sim is permanently available after the Part II update, with entry at Trailblazer I. It adds Dark, Earth and Lightning stages, a new Trial difficulty and a Training Index. Those are three different additions to the mode: more stage choices, another difficulty and a collection track.
The permanent entry rule matters because Holo-Battle Sim and Holo-Battle Interlink are different activities. Interlink’s weekly opening window does not become the Sim’s entry window simply because their names start the same way.

Three new elements expand the stage choice
The added attribute stages are Dark, Earth and Lightning. Each has new first-clear rewards. These stage additions are not the left, middle and right paths from Interlink.
A first clear belongs to the stage you actually complete. Finishing an older stage is not itself completion of each newly added one, and an element name is not a full enemy lineup or a ready-made counter team.
The type chart helps compare elemental relationships, while the team planner keeps the team’s roles and coverage together. The confirmed change here is the new set of stage elements; it does not establish exact enemy waves or a single composition that clears all three.
Trial has a first-clear track and a weekly track
Each stage gains Trial difficulty, with corresponding first-clear rewards and weekly rewards. Permanent mode access and recurring reward eligibility answer different questions.
| Layer | What changes |
|---|---|
| Stage selection | Dark, Earth and Lightning stages added |
| Trial difficulty | First-clear and weekly rewards added |
| Mode access | Permanently open after the update |
| Training Index | Collection-based reward track added |
For a returning player, a new Trial first clear and a weekly objective are separate pieces of progress. Repeating a stage does not make a first-clear reward first-time again. Equally, a weekly reward track does not mean that the entire mode closes outside a short weekly entry window.
The Training Index tracks three kinds of discovery
The new Training Index awards Index rewards through Gizmo collection, random events and Alpha transformations. Its scope reaches beyond the final clear result alone.
A run can therefore contain a collection goal as well as a clear goal. Finding a Gizmo or encountering a new Index-related event is a different record from completing Trial’s combat objective. The three channels should not be read as steps that must always happen in that order.
The Holo-Battle Simulator guide explains the underlying route and Gizmo vocabulary. The Part II Index is the new collection layer alongside those choices, rather than another name for the clear screen.
Keep Interlink’s path records separate
Interlink now gives its left, middle and right paths independent instances and highest-star records. Its announced regular window runs from Thursday 04:00 to Monday 03:59 on the service clock. The Interlink update covers those path and manual-claim changes.
Sim instead has the permanent entry rule, the three added attribute stages, Trial and the Training Index described here. Improving an Interlink path record does not complete a Sim Trial stage or discover a Sim Index entry. Keeping the mode names separate makes the next objective concrete: a new stage clear, a Trial reward condition or an Index discovery.
