Part II turns Holo-Battle Interlink's left, middle and right paths into three independent instances, each with its own highest-star record. A player can matchmake, enter with a team or play solo for each path separately. The update also changes the total-star rewards and makes phase reward claims manual.
That changes how a session can be organized. A strong result on one path is a record of that path, rather than a reason to treat every later attempt as a full three-path itinerary. The grouping choice can follow the encounter you are attempting.
- Independent instances
- Left, middle and right
- Record saved
- Highest stars on each path
- Entry requirement
- Trailblazer I
- Phase reward collection
- Manual claim
Each path has its own instance and grouping choice
Left, middle and right can each be entered through matchmaking, a team or solo play. The mode does not require using the same grouping method for all three.
| Path | Entry choices | Record |
|---|---|---|
| Left | Match, team or solo | Left's highest stars |
| Middle | Match, team or solo | Middle's highest stars |
| Right | Match, team or solo | Right's highest stars |
For example, a player can organize a premade group around a difficult middle-path encounter and use matchmaking for another path. That follows from the independent entry choices; it is not a promise that the encounters have equal difficulty or need identical builds.
The Interlink guide explains the mode's route and star terminology. The update's structural change is which session and record each path owns. It should be kept separate from the new phase's Alpha roster and environmental effects.
A better retry improves one path's best record
Each path keeps its highest star rating. A weaker retry does not become a better record simply because it happened later. Improving the middle path changes the middle path's contribution while the other path records remain their own results.
In that hypothetical example, the original sum is 6 + 4 + 5 = 15. Improving middle from four to seven makes it 6 + 7 + 5 = 18. A subsequent three-star middle result would not beat the seven-star best.
The point is the saved result, not those particular numbers. They illustrate the independent records and do not describe a tested team, a maximum star count or the amount needed for a specific reward.
Stars earned and rewards claimed are separate actions
Part II adds extra stars to each path and updates the rewards tied to total stars. Each phase's star rewards must now be claimed manually. Reaching a qualifying total and collecting its reward are therefore separate actions.
- 1Complete the chosen path
Its highest star result is recorded independently.
- 2Compare the phase total
The updated reward ladder uses the current phase's star totals.
- 3Claim the earned reward
A qualifying result does not replace the manual claim.
The older Interlink Week 3 article describes that week's specific Alphas, modifiers and Stamp ladder. Its old reward thresholds are not the new Part II table. The structural update is a reason to read the new ladder as a new ladder, rather than assuming the previous Stamp totals still apply.
AI covers a departure during preparation
If a Pathfinder leaves during the preparation phase, AI assistance is automatically added. The timing is part of the rule: this describes a departure before combat, not a blanket guarantee for every disconnect during a fight.
For a group organizing a particular path, it means a preparation-stage vacancy has an announced replacement behavior. It does not establish a new reward multiplier, a guaranteed clear or an equivalent replacement for every human role.
The team planner is useful for working through the team's intended functions before entry. The mode's AI rule addresses a specific vacancy; it does not determine which damage, healing or BREAK contribution the encounter needs.
The new season resets buffs and keeps a weekly window
Entry still requires Trailblazer I. After the version update, the announced regular weekly window runs from Thursday at 04:00 to the following Monday at 03:59. The first updated phase also depends on maintenance being complete; a weekly opening hour does not let a player enter while the service is offline.
Season buffs reset. The update brings additional Alphas and environmental effects, adjusts the phase's special buffs and changes some environmental effects used in earlier seasons.
That reset matters to a returning group: a lineup chosen around a previous season buff should be evaluated with the new phase's actual effects. The independent path format makes the next step specific: pick the path to improve, choose its grouping method, retain the best result and collect the reward that result has earned.
