What Legendary Journey is

The event opens as three stacked stages inside one tab. Trail of Butterfly Shadows is live from launch and asks you to gather Irisalis Petals across Breezy Plains. Walking with Irisalis opens on 25 September at 10:00 server time and turns those Petals into the Legendary Aniipod that opens the rift. Gift of Blessing opens on 1 December at 04:00 server time and lets you craft a second Aniipod for ordinary catching.

Petals are the whole economy. They carry a weekly acquisition limit that clears every Monday at 04:00, and anything you do not spend stays in your bag permanently, so there is no reason to rush a craft.

How to take part

1. Collect Irisalis Petals in Breezy PlainsExploration activities across Breezy Plains pay Petals, and clearing the story chapters Ceremony Preparations, The Ceremony That Never Began, Colorful Fragrance and The Land of Dancing Illusions pays them too.
2. Unlock the weekly sourcesClear the main story chapter Rainbow of the Ground to open The Faded Rainbow challenge, the weekly Petal source that resets with the Monday reset.
3. Craft the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis at 99 PetalsCrafting and claiming it opens the energy rift. Irisalis is level-capped content: the fight recommends level 20 and Fire, Wind or Dark partners.
4. Craft up to 10 Departure with the Wind Aniipods at 50 Petals eachFrom 1 December, each one is a guaranteed catch you can spend on any Aniimo you want, which is where leftover Petals should go.

The best line of play

• Treat the weekly cap as the real deadline. Every Monday you skip is Petals you cannot get back, and 99 plus 500 Petals is the full craft list.
• Take Fire, Wind or Dark Aniimo into the rift at level 20 or above. The recommendation is in the event panel and it is an accurate read of her kit.
• Hold the last 50-Petal crafts for an Aniimo you actually want. A guaranteed catch is worth more on a 0.005 percent Sparkling roll than on a common.
