Steady OpeningRecommended
Helmut takes the pressure phase. Use Scorchhowl only once the target is vulnerable; do not spend that opening healing Helmut if Glacy could have healed earlier.
Enter before a manageable enemy combo, use Ballistic Guard and work down the BREAK bar. Hand over the opening as soon as your attacker can use it.

Heal and enter against a predictable attack, then activate Ballistic Guard.
Apply Guardbreak Slam and safe basic attacks while watching the enemy’s BREAK bar.
Hand the vulnerable phase to your attacker, then heal Helmut before its next entry.
EP is your skill resource. BREAK is the vulnerable phase after the enemy’s break bar is depleted. An ultimate is the charged special skill. Read the full rotation and entry requirements.
Start with the first priority and work down. These are practical build goals, not simulated stat weights.
Shorten the pressure phase and deliver more usable openings to the attacker.
Sustain close-range entries. Favor the defense that matches the encounter’s incoming damage.
Keep the defensive entry and your next attacking action available; avoid an empty resource bar under pressure.
Keep the breaker job fixed and choose an attacker you have already developed. Core slots define this blueprint. Replace a flex member only if its replacement still covers the job described on the card.

Bank Gachapus’s ultimate and EP before committing Helmut to BREAK. The attacker’s setup is part of the plan.
Helmut breaks while Piopiota prepares Water support. Keep Sherro ready to enter when the opening appears.
Start with the ordinary form. Snowfield offers Guardbreak Smash coverage.
Keep the defensive tool and one attacking skill; basic attacks fill resource gaps. Each loadout labels its equipped skills. An optional swap, where shown, replaces slot 2.
Use the ordinary form. There is no ultimate listed in this kit.
Slot 2 choice: Keep Ballistic Guard. The Snowfield form supplies the Ice Guardbreak Smash alternative.
Choose Snowfield when Ice coverage is useful; the defensive job stays the same.
Slot 2 choice: Use Guardbreak Slam on the ordinary form; Guardbreak Smash requires Snowfield access.
Choose investment based on the reason your last entry failed.
Prepare support before the vulnerable window so your attacker can spend it attacking.
Enter against a predictable melee pattern. Stay close enough for the counter wave to reach; avoid committing during a lethal telegraph.
Activate the 20% damage reduction before contact. Its counter wave rewards controlled exposure; it is not invulnerability or a team-wide defensive buff.
Use Guardbreak Slam between attacks and finish its three-smash chain only when safe. Its third hit can stun eligible targets for one second. Use basics when EP is low.
Send in your prepared attacker. Helmut staying on field after finishing its job can consume the most valuable damage time.
Recover before the next entry. If a ranged target will not approach, change positioning or breaker instead of waiting for counter waves that cannot connect.
Use these encounter rules to preserve the rotation instead of forcing the same sequence into every target.
Accept small predictable hits only when the reduction and healing can sustain them. Dodge large attacks, grabs and dangerous ground effects.
Compare time to BREAK, Helmut’s remaining HP and how much of the opening your attacker uses. A slower break that consistently delivers a clean handoff can be more useful while learning.
Repeated knockouts call for durability or timing changes. Long idle stretches call for a more active breaker. Ballistic Guard is not an automatic victory loop.
