What Polaris' Commendation is
Polaris’ Commendation is a one-quest chapter that exists to mark the end of the Elite Training road. It is not a fight, it is not an exam, and it carries no level or title requirement. It appears when your Elite Training badge count reaches 180, and it consists of calling Dr. Lewis and then going to see him.
The game frames it as a vow rather than a task, and the quest card says so in its own words before you accept anything. The Aniimo that arrives at the end is the one the vow is about.
Starlight to guide the way, butterflies as companions. Beneath the pole star, this vow is sealed... However far the road ahead, the butterflies walk it with you.
What 180 Elite Training badges means
Elite Training pays badges for finishing its courses, and the badges feed one long track that runs underneath every chapter. The track pays out at seven milestones, and 180 is the last of them. The quest checks that number and nothing else.
- Stage 1Chapter One alone carries 49 badges, so the first stage lands during the opening run.
- Stage 2Still reachable inside Chapter One if you clear its optional paths as well as its courses.
- Stage 3Past the total any single chapter holds, so this one needs a second chapter opened.
- Stage 4A little under a third of the 313 badges the programme carries.
- Stage 5Required courses alone top out well below this. The optional paths are carrying you by now.
- Stage 6The last stage before the gate, and the point where most accounts stop chasing badges.
- Stage 7The final stage. Polaris' Commendation appears the moment you cross it.
The seven Elite Training chapters carry 313 badges between them, so 180 is a little under three fifths of everything on the board. That leaves real slack, but not as much as it sounds: the promotion assessments only ever ask for 4 required courses per chapter, so a player who does exactly what the title assessments demand and nothing more finishes the ladder far short of 180.

What the Somniwing is worth
The reward is a Somniwing, a Grass and Wind moth built entirely around energy. Its trait, Energy Full, raises maximum EP by 10, and three of its five skills push EP around the team rather than dealing damage.

Finishing this quest closes the Growth Story. There is no chapter after it in this build: the Elite Training table stops at seven chapters, and the prerequisite quests that would take you past Pathfinder Level 60 sit behind Chapters 8 and 9, neither of which exists yet.
What is left of the 313 badges is still worth taking. Courses you skipped keep paying Credits, Aniimo EXP and Dewdrop Crystals, and they are one of the steadier sources of Potential materials outside Alpha hunting.
