What the Veinwalker Assessment chapter is
Veinwalker Assessment is the Growth Story: eight quests that each send you to a different region to out-battle the senior who holds that area badge, then back to Dr. Lewis for a written exam. Six of the eight promote your title and lift your level cap; the last two are the Glory Badge matches against Instructor Lita.

Dr. Lewis calls the moment your paperwork clears. Wally has lost track of why the Dewdrop Crystals in the Sea of Flowers keep draining, Jilly is standing over a chest she cannot open on Beast Fang Ridge, and Loulla runs a midnight concert in Berylline Vale that only starts once you push the clock to night.
Zephyrus Landbridge is where the chapter turns. Wendell takes your challenge, loses, and then a masked figure steps out of the wind and takes you on again five levels higher. The figure is Wendell, and the group he names is the Umbral Society, which is the first time the story says that name out loud.
After Cecelia signs off the Trailblazer paperwork on the Tideblossom Coast, Instructor Lita calls you back to Astra. The Boomblast Arena bout is the last graded fight in the chapter, and the rematch for her Glory Badge is the last thing the Growth Story asks of you.

Why your assessment has not appeared yet
Hitting the level does nothing on its own. Each assessment sits behind a hidden prerequisite quest that asks for two things at once: the Pathfinder Level, and a set number of required quests inside one Elite Training chapter. Submit that prerequisite and the assessment appears in the Log; leave it and the Log stays empty while your experience bar sits full.

The reward for passing is the title, and the title is what moves the cap. Student I holds you at 25, Student II at 35, Student III at 40, Wayfarer I at 45, Wayfarer II at 50, Wayfarer III at 55 and Trailblazer I at 60. There is no promotion past Trailblazer I in this build, so 60 is the working cap for you and for your Aniimo training level.

Those are Steam global unlock rates for the three achievements the ladder hands out, and they are the reason this page exists. Fewer than one player in five has cleared Loulla, and the drop from there to Cecelia is the steepest cliff on the whole achievement list. The wall is the Elite Training chapter behind each promotion rather than the duel itself: every duel is set at or below the level you are already capped at.
The theory assessment, with every answer
Win the duel and Dr. Lewis runs the written half at the Outpost. Six of the eight assessments carry one, each drawing 3 fixed questions from its own bank. You get 20 seconds per question after a 3 second countdown, and you have to answer all three correctly. Two right out of three fails the exam.
Unfortunately, you did not answer enough questions correctly. You failed the exam.
Failing costs nothing but the walk back. The duel stays cleared, the questions do not change between attempts, and you can sit the exam again straight away. The three questions per assessment are listed below in the order the bank stores them, with the answer the game accepts.

He stands at the Elite Pathfinder Challenge marker in the Sea of Flowers. The region is banded Lv 19 to 28, so nothing on the road there threatens a Level 25 team.
Look around for clues, then help him again
Two investigation prompts near the crystal beds, then a call to Dr. Lewis. This is the errand half of the assessment and it cannot be skipped.

Starlight’s Glory does not appear until Lita’s duel is on your record. It is the only quest in the chapter gated on a fight rather than on a level.

The pay is a Prismana Sherro, the only Aniimo the assessment chapter hands over. That makes this the cheapest Prismana form in the game for anyone who has worked the ladder: no eggs, no Branch upgrade, no Wild Surge farming. Compare the other routes in the Prismana guide.
What comes next
The ladder stops at Trailblazer I. The client carries a Trailblazer II row and prerequisite quests for Pathfinder Level 65 and 70 behind Elite Training Chapters 8 and 9, but neither chapter exists yet, so Level 60 is where every account tops out today.
What is left is the rematch state on each duel you already cleared. Each one fields the same senior far above the level they fought you at, and each one carries its own first clear reward.

Why is my promotion assessment not showing up?
Because the level is only half the gate. Each assessment sits behind a prerequisite quest that also wants a number of required quests in one Elite Training chapter: 4 for chapters 1 to 6, and 3 for chapter 7. Submit that prerequisite and the assessment appears in the Log.
