Stat priorities

Start with the first priority and work down. These are practical build goals, not simulated stat weights.

1. ATK
At 118 this is the second highest ATK in the element. Frost Tail Strike adds 85% on top of a 60 Might hit, so the base number is what that percentage multiplies.
2. Critical rate
Biting Wind only supplies 15%, and only while the target holds more than five stacks. Your own crit rate covers the gaps between stack windows.
3. EP recovery
Boomerang Blade costs 20 EP to throw and another 10 EP per second while it spins. REGEN 98 decides how long the stack engine can run before recall.
4. Critical damage
Once the trait and the Held Item raise crit rate, the per-hit payoff is what turns three 55 Might blade hits into a real burst.

Glynsera can feed itself or be fed. Bringing a dedicated Ice Debuff source frees the second skill slot for coverage, which is what the Prismana and Nighttime teams do with it. Core slots define this blueprint. Replace a flex member only if its replacement still covers the job described on the card.

Frost Tail Strike never leaves

The consumer is fixed and the stack source is the choice. Boomerang Blade is self-sufficient, Ice Strikes is cheaper, and the form skills trade stacks for coverage. Each loadout labels its equipped skills. An optional swap, where shown, replaces slot 2.

Ice Debuff carry

Combat set

The default set and the only one that builds its own stacks. Boomerang Blade throws for 20 EP then charges 10 EP per second while it spins, so recall it as soon as the count is up.

Slot 2 choice: Ice Strikes applies a flat 5 stacks in one 20 EP cast. Take it over the blade when a teammate is already feeding Ice Debuff.

Prismana light coverage

Combat set

Requires the Prismana form. Prismana Slash fires three Light blades for three hits at 55 Might and 20 EP, which is the only non-Ice damage Glynsera can equip.

Slot 2 choice: Prismana Slash is the coverage pick. Keep Ice Strikes when the target has no Dark or Wind resistance to punish.

Nighttime silence

Combat set

Requires the Nighttime form. Night Slash is Dark typed, costs 20 EP on a 15 second cooldown and silences the target for 4 seconds.

Slot 2 choice: Night Slash is control first and damage second. Swap back to Ice Strikes against a target that does not cast.

Held items

Crit first, then the multiplier

Biting Wind is conditional, so Held Items exist to hold crit rate up between stack windows. Ferocious Fang and Capacitous Battery scale what lands once it is.

The whole loop is stack accounting. Check the count before every Frost Tail Strike and recall the blade the moment the stacks are gone.

Step 1: Start the stack engine
Throw Boomerang Blade into the target. It lands 78 Might on the throw, then 39 Might per second while it spins, and applies Ice Debuff for as long as it stays out. It also charges 10 EP every second, so treat it as a meter rather than a set-and-forget effect.

Ice Strikes fires three ice blades for three hits at 55 Might and applies a flat 5 stacks of Ice Debuff. One cast plus one blade pass is usually enough to clear the Biting Wind threshold.

Make the build hold together

Use these encounter rules to preserve the rotation instead of forcing the same sequence into every target.

Ice doubles into Water and Electric

The base kit deals 1.6x to Water and Electric and a flat 1x to Grass, Wind, Light and Dark. Those flat matchups are the reason the two form skills exist.

Prismana covers Dark and Wind

Light deals 1.6x to Dark and Wind, which is the pair Ice cannot press. Prismana Glynsera also raises its Homeland Ice ability from level 3 to 4 and adds Light at level 3.

Nighttime covers Grass, Electric and Light

Dark deals 1.6x to Grass, Electric and Light. Ice already doubles into Electric, so the real gain is Grass and Light plus a 4 second silence.

Fire and Earth punish the frame

Fire and Earth hit Ice for 1.6x, and Glynsera has 72 P.DEF and 95 HP. Use Hustle to reset spacing rather than trading hits through a slam.

Stacks are a shared resource

Frost Tail Strike consumes the stacks that Biting Wind reads. Spending the pile turns the crit bonus off until the count climbs again, so order the blade pass before the tail strike, not after.
