Stat priorities

Start with the first priority and work down. These are practical build goals, not simulated stat weights.

1. REGEN
REGEN 108 is the highest number in the kit and the trait scales on it directly, gaining 0.40 per 100 REGEN. It also refills the 20 EP that Coral Trap and Quicksand Slam each cost.
2. BREAK
Coraliz starts at 107 BREAK. Every Coral Trap tick and every basic attack pushes the enemy BREAK bar, so the entry turn does real work even before the carry arrives.
3. HP
Coraliz has 97 base HP and takes the opening attack before handing over to the carry. Raise it before chasing damage, and lean on M.DEF 90 against magic hitters.

Fill the party with Earth so the trait pays more

Overcharged Coral counts Earth-type Aniimo in the party, so the same entry is worth more in an Earth team than in a mixed one. Each blueprint lists the damage dealer first and opens in that order in the Planner. Core slots define this blueprint. Replace a flex member only if its replacement still covers the job described on the card.

The basic form is Earth and Water. The Rainstorm form appears in rain, drops the Water typing and keeps the same five skills, so the rotation does not change when you switch.

Keep Coral Trap, choose the second tool

Coral Prison and the basic attack hold their own slots. The choice is between Coral Impact for the mark payout and Quicksand Slam for the hold. Each loadout labels its equipped skills. An optional swap, where shown, replaces slot 2.

The default set. Coral Prison costs 100 Ultimate points and restores 30 EP on cast, Coral Trap is the 20 EP workhorse, and Coral Impact costs nothing and pays 1 EP back when its mark expires.

Slot 2 choice: Take Quicksand Slam instead of Coral Impact when the team needs the 2 second Imprisonment more than the Coral Mark payout.

Hold and break

Combat set

Quicksand Slam applies Imprisonment for 2 seconds on a 10 second cooldown, which lines up with a breaker finishing its chain. Coral Trap still supplies the Earth Debuff stacks underneath.

Slot 2 choice: Return to Coral Impact against targets that shrug off control, since its mark still pays 3 Might for every Earth hit taken.

REGEN is what the trait scales on and what pays for the next trap. Take a BREAK item only once the entry turn is comfortable.

Enter, trap, hold, hand over

The whole turn is four actions long. Anything after the hold is time the carry could have been using.

Step 1: Enter before the carry
Overcharged Coral only fires on entry, and it has a 15 second cooldown, so a switch made for no reason throws the refund away. Send Coraliz in at the start of the fight and after each long swap cycle.
Step 2: Lay Coral Trap on the approach
The trap sits ahead of Coraliz for 5 seconds, damages every second and applies one Earth Debuff stack per tick. Place it where the target is heading rather than where it stands.

Step 3: Mark, then hold
Coral Impact costs 0 EP and marks the target for 6 seconds. While the mark is up, every instance of Earth damage the target takes adds 3 Might to the payout, and the mark returns 1 EP when it ends.

Step 4: Spend Coral Prison on a group
The ultimate deals wide-area damage in front, restores 30 EP and applies Imprisonment for 2 seconds. When the Imprisonment ends the target takes another 25% of the original Might, so use it on packs rather than single targets.

Quicksand Slam and Coral Prison both hold for 2 seconds. Hand the field to your damage dealer inside that window instead of finishing a basic-attack string with Coraliz.

Make the build hold together

Use these encounter rules to preserve the rotation instead of forcing the same sequence into every target.

Earth answers Fire and Ice

Every Coraliz skill is Earth. Earth deals 1.6x into Fire and Ice, and only 0.625x into Water, Grass, Dark and Earth. Against a Grass or Water target, bring Coraliz for the EP and the hold and let another element carry the damage.

Grass punishes both halves

Grass deals 1.6x into Earth and 1.6x into Water, so a Grass attacker hits the basic form on both typings. Rainstorm Coraliz is pure Earth, which removes the Electric, Ice and Earth weakness the Water half carries.

Where to catch Coraliz

Coraliz lives in Crescent Bay on the Whisperwake Isles, with atlas pins at 1419,1261 and 1111,1101. Swimming level 1 reaches both. It also evolves from Reefish at Aniimo level 53.

The Rainstorm form is weather-gated

Rainstorm Coraliz appears only while it is raining. A copy you already own can be switched to that form for one Morph Orb, and the target form has to be registered in your Aniilog first.
