Stat priorities

Start with the first priority and work down. These are practical build goals, not simulated stat weights.

  1. 1. ATK

The slash and slam attacks use physical damage.

  2. 2. Damage and critical rate

Match elemental bonuses to the slam you equip.

  3. 3. EP recovery

The main skills cost 20 EP; budget both active slots before the damage window.

Party blueprints

Bring the tidepool three ways

Use Rookey for stable BREAK, Reefish and Helmut for control, or Thunderstorm Sherro and Dazmand for Electric coverage. Core slots define this blueprint. Replace a flex member only if its replacement still covers the job described on the card.

Combat loadouts

Create, absorb, repeat

Hydro Roll establishes terrain, then the slashes convert it into buffs and efficient damage. Each loadout has two active skill slots; the fifth entry is an optional swap for slot 2.

Carried items

Tune the slash and terrain cycle

Ferocious Fang sets the ATK baseline, Gargantuan Claw strengthens the slash, Destiny's Dice adds flexible burst, and the Tidepool loadout or BREAK team shifts the cycle.

Quick rotation5 steps · follow in order

Keep Tidal Heart wet

Never begin the damage loop without a puddle plan.

  1. Step 1: Create water terrain

Use Hydro Roll or Piopiota’s Water Cannon or Surf to leave a puddle.

  2. Step 2: Activate Tidal Heart

Stand in the terrain or absorb water to gain 20% Water damage for 20 seconds.

  3. Step 3: Land every slash

Complete all three Flowing Water Slash hits to trigger the extra finishing slash.

  4. Step 4: Use Torrent Slam near puddles

Nearby puddles add 30% of the original Might and a 15% Water damage buff for 20 seconds.

  5. Step 5: Refresh before terrain disappears

Cycle back to Hydro Roll or Piopiota when the water setup is consumed or expires.

Execution notes

Make the build hold together

Use these encounter rules to preserve the rotation instead of forcing the same sequence into every target.

Puddle economy

Piopiota can absorb puddles to heal, so do not consume the last one just before Sherro’s damage turn.

Flowing Water Slash

Its 20 EP cost and guaranteed extra slash on full connection make it the efficient repeat button.
